Steven Rapp grew up with a fervent interest in woodworking and a passion for collecting minerals and fossils.  Collecting and integrating natures' wonders have never ceased for Steven and in retirement he culminated his efforts to create a collection of one of a kind, precisely constructed and maintenance free boxes.  He selects richly grained native and exotic woods that compliment highly desired minerals, fossils and artifacts.  These boxes are a museum of earth's wonders, each with a unique fingerprint.  Most significant is the artisan's ability to manipulate these natural wonders of our earth into a visual metaphor, expressing his vision of nature's beauty.
