Two, one inch crystallized gold specimens from the round top mountain open pit gold mine, Nye County Nevada; boulder opal from Australia with blues and greens.  Top is a big leaf maple burl from Washinton, fron and sides are curved in walnut, back is red elm and base is cherry.  Hinges stop at 95 degrees.  Serial number 5301.
Size is 10" long, 5 3/4" deep adn 4 1/2" tall
